Turntable Vibrocompactor

Operating principle of a Turntable Vibrocompactor

Capacity (anodes/hour)

All three operating cycles of a Turntable Vibrocompactor, which are

  • weighing the paste batch
  • compacting the block and
  • discharging the moulded anode,

are proceeding simultaneously at three stations spaced at 120° around the center column of the vibrocompactor.

The turntable with one mould at each station revolves around the center column from one station to the next upon completion of each of the operating cycles. Resulting from this continuous operation method a higher output of anode blocks can be realized.
