Uniform product quality is the major benefit of our CFB technology. The operators can adjust the process conditions such as temperature and retention time in the reaction system and keep them constant in all parts of the reactor.
If product requirements change, the process conditions can easily be adjusted to meet the new product specification.
The CFB system is especially suited for all kinds of exothermic and endothermic reactions of fine-grained solids.
Worsley Alumina Pty. Ltd. in Western Australia uses Outokumpu CFB technology. The calciner activates its capacity with the use of a hydrate bypass.
